Spider Plant
Chlorophytum comosum
A classic houseplant that is exceptionally fun to grow. It features long, arching leaves that are solid green or variegated. Mature plants produce long stems bearing tiny white flowers and 'spiderettes' (baby plants).
Care Requirements
Light
Bright, indirect light. Direct sun can scorch its delicate leaves, while low light can slow its growth and limit the production of spiderettes.
Water
Water every 1-2 weeks. Keep soil slightly moist but not soggy.
